Established in 2000, dedicated to all good things, and firmly rooted in the glorious past, you'll find The Swell Company and its roots in the state of Maine where the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well.

Working from an 1850's farmhouse and a very inspirational barn in the mountains of western Maine, we are committed to preserving the integrity and old time skills of this region in the quality and manufacturing of our designs. Our products are Made in Maine, and created with great aplomb by a bevy of stay-at-home mothers, fathers, granddads and grandmas. Families working together. Cottage industry is an important part of Maine's economy, and we are proud to feature the work of these skilled local artisans.
